I purchased the GEN II muzzle brake for my rem 700 chambered in .30-06, I am very impressed with the machine work that has gone into the brake and I'm very impressed with the difference it made when it can time to pull the trigger.
Without a muzzle brake the first time I shot this rifle at my local range I managed around 40 rounds before I gave up and left.
With the HSS muzzle brake I shot a little over 100 without a problem, even my girlfriend felt comfortable shooting a few rounds down range with it!
Also another positive I found was the muzzle blast was not as bad as I expected, I asked both shooters on the benches either side of me if the muzzle blast was bad/annoying and both said it wasn't that bad and less then most other braked gun at the range.
