Possum Hollow bore guides are machined from a solid piece of delrin. This material is 100% solvent resistant. Our guides are designed to align the cleaning rod with the center of the rifles bore. This insures that no damage can be done by a jag or brush.Our “O” ring guides are machined with a snout that extends into the chamber.

This snout has a silicone “O” ring that seals off the chamber. This insures that no solvent can run back into the action or trigger.Rimfire guides do not have a snout that protrudes into the chamber. We are unable to put a snout on because of the ejector inside the action.

The lapping tool comes with a steel bar to fit rings, a handle, and some lapping compound. The tool is used to remove metal from the scope rings that will cause tube deflection. This procedure puts the bearing surface of each ring in alignment with the other.
